PHOTO EXHIBITION IN SYNAGOUGE LENDAVA: Wilhelm Heiliger – Meditation and Photography

As part of the International Museum Day events Gallery-Museum Lendava kindly invites you to the opening of the photo exhibition of Wilhelm Heiliger, entitled Meditation and Photography, which will be held at the Lendava Synagogue on Saturday, 18 May 2019 at 6 pm.

The exhibition will be opened by art historian Pavla Jarc.

The opening of the exhibition will be followed by a concert by guitarist Matija Hozjan.

The exhibition was realized in cooperation with:
Kulturni dom Nova Gorica,
Gorenjski muzej,
Pilonova galerija Ajdovščina,
Kosovelov dom Sežana &
Muzeji radovljiške občine.

Co-organizer of the exhibition is Lendava Music School.
Sponsored by Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.

Guided tour in the Slovenian language at the exhibition Hundertwasser & Hasegawa: Orient & Okzident.

3 pm, Lendava castle
Presentation of the publication Centuries of Lendava (Lyndamuseum 12) and a professional guidance trough the permanent exhibition of the same name.

4 pm, Lendava castle
Guided tour in the Hungarian language at the exhibition Hundertwasser & Hasegawa: Orient & Okzident.

6 pm, Synagouge Lendava
Opening of the photo exhibition Wilhelm Heiliger: Meditation and photography and a concert by guitarist Matija Hozjan.

We kindly welcome everyone to the events to mark the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Friday, 26 January 2018, which will be held in Synagogue Lendava.

at 5 pm
Opening of the photographic exhibition by Branimir Ritonje titled Jewish cemeteries and presentation of the photo album Konzentrationslager Auschwitz.

After the presentation, there will be a piano concert by Sara Köveš.

EXHIBITION: 80 years of Suzanne Király-Moss

I N V I T A T I O N

Gallery-Museum Lendava kindly invites you and you friends to the opening of the exhibition of academic painter Suzanne Király-Moss to celebrate her 80th birthday,
which will be held on Saturday, 7 October 2017 at 6pm in Lendava Synagogue.

It will be opened by the art historian mag. Franc Obal.

The exhibition will be on display until November 15, 2017.

27 September 2017: World Tourism Day

We kindly invite you at the World Tourism Day on Wednesday, 27th September 2017 in the working hours to attend the free cultural and historical sights of Lendava.

On this day you can visti free of charge the Theater and Concert Hall, the Synagogue Lendava – Slovenian Holocaust Museum, the Gallery and Museum in Lendava Castle and the Museum of the Citizenry, typography and umbrella manufactory in Lendava.

INVITATION: European Days of Jewish Culture 2017

I N V I T A T I O N

Gallery-Museum Lendava, Synagogue Lendava and the Slovenian Holocaust Museum are inviting you to attend the events on Sunday, 3 September 2017, at the European Days of Jewish Culture:

At 11 a.m.:
A walk through the Jewish heritage of Lendava, a guided sightseeing tour (the gathering place will be in front of the Synagogue).

At 18 p.m.:
Opening of the documentary exhibition Walls, signs, fates – Deportation of the Hungarian Jews to Auschwitz.

The opening is followed by a concert of Jewish music performed by Judit Klein and Zoltán Neumark.
